Sweet Valley Farm
Nestled in the heart of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, Sweet Valley Farms, also known as Perehinys Farm, has been proudly family-owned and operated since 1928. For nearly a century, the Perehinys family has cared for their land in the scenic valley of Ringoes, growing with the seasons and staying rooted in tradition.
Today, the farm is run by Robert Perehinys Sr., alongside his son George Perehinys. George and his wife Darcy work side by side, putting in countless hours to bring you the freshest Jersey tomatoes and their signature “Sweet Valley Sweet Corn,” known across the county for its unbeatable flavor.
But that’s just the beginning. George takes great pride in producing a wide variety of high-quality crops, including peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, string beans, cucumbers, cantaloupe, canary melon, watermelon, and come fall, some of the most beautiful pumpkins around.
In addition to produce, George also runs a thriving livestock operation, offering premium beef raised with care right on the farm. A true jack-of-all-trades, he proudly calls himself a “Suckatash farmer,” dabbling in a little bit of everything—from field corn to compost. If it grows, grazes, or feeds the land, chances are George is working it.
You can find Perehinys Farm produce at our brick-and-mortar store in Ringoes—run by George’s brother, Jon Jo Perehinys, along with a dedicated team of staff—as well as at our roadside stand on Route 202, the Stangl Market on Saturdays, and the Hunterdon Land Trust Farmers’ Market on Sundays.
With deep roots in the community and a legacy nearly 100 years strong, Sweet Valley Farms continues to bring farm-fresh goodness—and a whole lot of heart—from our fields to your family’s table.
You will find Sweet Valley Farm every Sunday at Hunterdon Community Farmers Market as soon as the corn is ready through frost!
