I love nature and seem to gravitate toward painting landscapes. As an artist I feel not only compelled to paint- but to do so in a way that allows the paint itself to make a statement. I want the paint (and the viewer) to move freely about the canvas, interacting with each other. Nature has both a wonderful balance and a wild randomness which I hope to convey to the viewer, not simply to their eye, but to their heart. It is with my heart more than my eye that brings me to a blank canvas. I have traveled extensively and been inspired by many artists (Van Gogh, Monet, Manet and dozens of others). I sell consistently all along the Delaware river towns in galleries, Art shows and Fairs. It gives me great pleasure to not only paint, but to see the wide smile on someone who purchases one of my paintings and holds it in their hands
